I didn’t find audio. Audio found me.

I fell in love with movies first.

The first CDs I ever bought were film soundtracks, a way to bring the theater home with me. That obsession eventually led me to Berklee College of Music, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Music Production & Engineering. I showed up knowing I loved sound. I left knowing what to do with it.

One door at a time.

What came next felt like a divine, directed, and deliberate sequence of steps. Recording sessions in Las Vegas. Mixing front of house at Walt Disney World. Nearly eight years at Elevation Church in Charlotte, where I helped define what a church could sound like at the highest level. A season with Waves Audio. A season with Defacto Sound, mixing trailers and branded content for Netflix, HBO, and some of the world's most recognized brands.

I’ve found that supporting multiple projects is my sweet spot.

I have regular partners spanning local and global churches, major media creators, and some of the world’s most recognizable brands. And even still, every project that comes across my desk gets everything I’ve got. I’m wired for “all-in” and love working with brands and production companies who care deeply about how they sound.

I live in the Orlando area with my wife, Harley, and our daughter, and when we're not working, you'll find us making memories together at Disney, supporting the local church with music, and making our own as Harley and Ryan Monette.
